Some Thoughts:
ReplyDeleteThe witnesses have been tainted by improper police conduct and there are similarities between Mr. Stevens and the man in the picture at a wal-mart in Versailles but not similar enough to convict that's for sure. So that leaves a store security guy at a wal-mart in Joplin who somehow "obtained" their license plate number.
What are the details of the case in Joplin that is referred to in the report?
How do the facts of the case in Joplin implicate Mr. Stevens in the case in Versailles?
How did the Joplin case come to Officer Berry's attention?
How, when, and where did Scott Hastings "obtain" that license plate number?
Are there any registered "white ford taraus" with handicapped plate numbers similar to BJ-32D?
Have there been any plates reported stolen similar to BJ-32D?
Why did Mr. Stevens supposedly "identify himself" to Dennis Goodling in February, just what was the situation there?
They must have seen this person touch plenty of things on the wal-mart surveillance videos, did they check anything for fingerprints and if so did Mr. Stevens prints come up anywhere? At any of the 20 crime scenes?

Ameristar Casino in Kansas City, where Mr. Stevens was eating dinner at the time of the crime, has plenty of cameras and I'd bet that they still have the footage from that evening.
*Someone could ask them to find Mr.Stevens on their security video in or around Great Plains Cattle Co. at around 5:07pm on 02/27/2010.
Banks keep their surveilence footage and ATM photos for quite a while too.

*People could call and respectfully request that Mr. Stevens immediately be given his day in court, it's been several months already. There are still a whole lot of counties that might arrest him based on nothing but Morgan County's "evidence".
